Shirting: Present yourself with presence |
Today’s topic: Shirting refers to anything one wears against the torso directly that is not a jacket. It's a noun as I use it, not a verb, that comes to me from my experiences being fitted on Savile Row.
Why does it matter? First from a self-defense standpoint, neat, put-together attire connotes a sense of discipline, especially when everything fits well. The combination of well-fitting clothing, proper grooming, and a highly capable physique signifies you are serious and competent.
What does it mean? Fly under the radar opposed to a person who observably lives in gun culture. You are just another -after hours officer worker- a “gray man.”

Insiders Look at Shivworks |
Buy once cry once. I have heard guys use this to justify the purchase of an outrageously priced piece of tactical equipment. Oddly it seems most people only apply that to one part of their life. If you can invest something that will serve you well over time, you will save in the long run. That doesn't mean go all out the moment you have a new interest but it does mean every purchase should be researched and measured.

henomenal course. Grounded in reality (no hokey, “knife fighting”) and as thorough as it could be. Amazing instruction from all, and all skills are pressure tested safely. This was my first time taking one of their courses and I’ll definitely be back! (this coming from the only female in a class of all men) |
